Attention Lovers of Books!

Ok, ok... so I haven't been blogging lately. What can I say? This summer has been busy, busy, busy! That is, if busy includes such activities as laying around on the couch complaining about how hot it is. Life is hard.
I do, in fact, have pictures to post and boring stories to tell, but frankly I just don't feel up to it right now. So sue me. My purpose in posting today is pure recruitment. After hearing many friends of mine gush about their fabulous book clubs and the fascinating books they've read and discussions they've participated in, I realized that the aching little twinge in my chest was jealousy. So rather than sit around feeling resentful and envious, I have decided to just start my own super fabulous book club! Unfortunately, in order for my book club to be super fabulous, it requires more people than just myself. Somehow discussing clever ideas, being aghast at what Mr. Whosit said in chapter 17, and laughing at all my witty remarks, just doesn't sound like fun if I'm sitting in an empty room. So how about it? Who wants to join me?! *crickets chirping* Ok, really... there has to be at least a couple of people... right? *laughing nervously*... right? Alright. So, the catch is that you have to be willing to drive out to my area (or where ever the meetings are held) once a month. If you want to join me, just leave a comment with a way to contact you, or email me at sheribeestaten at gmail dot com. I'll send out more information if/when I have some official members to send said information to! I'm thinking Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday night,(about 8:30ish) once a month. C'mon! Like I said... super awesome book club! Don't leave me sitting in an empty room crying over little Jimmy dying so unexpectedly alone!

Me me me! I want to join! *raising and waiving hand in the air, nerdishly!* but I can't make it to West Jordan. Hope that you get lots of volunteers. Sounds like fun!
